Historic Property Registration and Signage

Working together, we help you complete the Historic Property Registration & Signage process by conducting thorough historical and archaeological research, tracing the history of your property, and compiling sufficient information, such as photos and maps, for evaluation by the SC Department of Archives and History.

Once approved as a Historic Property, we will help you complete the South Carolina Historical Marker application. All markers require a sponsoring organization, and the sponsor is responsible for installing the marker and ensuring it complies with applicable local or state regulations.
