Despite their historical character, some buildings require significant updates to meet the changing needs of a modern community. Rehabilitation & Adaptive Reuse Design allows a building’s history to live on but with a modified contribution to society, such as a school becoming an apartment complex, a retail store becoming a boutique hotel or a train depot becoming an event venue.

Adaptive Reuse requires design flexibility and creative problem-solving and has enormous environmental benefits. It often leads to a domino effect of increasing market value, community enhancements, and additional investment.
